The KAAR staff will be in attendance at the membership meeting on Wednesday, January 24 so the office will be closed from 8:30 - 11:30 am.  The office will reopen at 11:30 am.  We hope to see you at the meeting.  If you weren't able to register or were just unable to attend, please make sure to look for an announcement of future meetings.

Boost Home Appeal

For sellers preparing a home for market or buyers envisioning upgrades, KUB’s Natural Gas Appliance Rebate Program can make improvements more affordable.  For homes with existing KUB Natural Gas service, the program offers rebates up to a total of $1,100 for ranges, water heaters, clothes dryers and heating units converted from electric or propane.

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather, KAAR will follow the Knox County School schedule for cancelations of classes.  However, if Knox County Schools are delayed based on inclement weather, KAAR classes may not always follow the schedule, and decisions will be made on a case by case basis for delays.  KAAR will use its text messaging alert system and e-mail to notify class registrants about cancelations and class delays.
