City Offers Two Trainings for Short Term Rental Permits

Short Term Rentals are now being permitted. Knoxville residents wishing to operate a short-term rental unit can apply for a permit from the City of Knoxville, Business Tax Office, in room 450 of the City County Building, 400 Main St., provided they meet the conditions in the City’s newly adopted short-term rental ordinance.
City staff will offer two training and question-and-answer sessions for short-term rental hosts on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m. in room 549 and Friday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. in the Small Assembly Room at the City County Building.
There is also a list of answers to frequently asked questions online at knoxvilletn.gov/STRS.
If you would like to check out the application first, the form is available on the City website at knoxvilletn.gov/STRS. It includes a list of necessary supporting documents.

For more, attend either training at the City County Building.
