She has been an attorney in both the courtroom and the Statehouse as well as Legal Counsel for a REALTORS® Association.

Trista is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law, served as Assistant Legal Counsel to Kansas, then joined the office of the District Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial District of Kansas as Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Consumer Fraud division. She has also served as Government Affairs Director and Legal Counsel for the Wichita Area Association of REALTORS®.
